SELF IMPROVEMENT: Break Down Leads to Breakthrough

Sometimes you need to break things down to shake things up and achieve a major #breakthrough.⁣ Do you see the similarities in the words “break down” and the word “breakthrough”? Both involve the word “break,” and both involve disrupting the status quo. In fact, they are two sides of the same coin. ⁣ Often we need to see that there is a problem with the current situation before we can move towards a positive solution. Because we are creatures of #habit, we can sometimes go about life going through #routines and not really self-reflecting when things aren’t working very well. So sometimes, we get a call to return to the basics, and rebuild something from its parts that wasn’t working. Much like a house or building, it needs to have a strong foundation and be built to last. ⁣ Don’t be afraid if you are called to break things down, to be challenged to reinvent the wheel, to start over, or even, when experiencing an emotional “breakdown.” Any of the scenarios give you the opportunity for a breakthrough; a sudden, dramatic, and important discovery or development that drives you toward success. These opportunities offer a disruption of the status quo and allows you to innovate and replace existing barriers (uncomfortable #emotions, negative thoughts, unhelpful people or situations) in your life so that its clears the way for positive outcomes.⁣ What will you break down today? ⁣
